Job summary

Eaton in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer – Product Development & Technical Documentation to join our Middle East Engineering Team. You will design, develop, validate, and sustain electronic hardware and PCBA solutions for Life Safety and power management products, while owning the associated manuals and drawings.

The role emphasizes compliance with IEC, UL, and company standards, collaboration with Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for engineering products.
• Experience supporting product certification, validation, and industrialization activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and sustain electronic hardware solutions for Life Safety and power management products.
• Own creation, maintenance, and release of product technical documentation including manuals, guides, and drawings.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
• Support regulatory and certification activities and drive continuous improvement of documentation templates and processes.
