Job summary
LutechResources is seeking a technically skilled IT Systems & Desktop Support Engineer in Dubai to install, configure, and maintain our IT infrastructure. You will manage a Dell rack-mounted Windows file server, Acronis backup, an HPE tape library, antivirus solutions, and ~40 Windows desktops, while delivering end-user support and routine maintenance.
You will be responsible for OS installations, security patches, printer configurations, and ensuring reliable IT operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in Windows Server administration and desktop support.
- Experience managing small to medium Windows IT environments.
- Hands-on experience with Dell enterprise rack servers.
- Experience with backup solutions and recovery operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Dell PowerEdge servers.
- Configure RAID, iDRAC, BIOS, and firmware.
- Install and administer Windows Server and file server in Workgroup mode.
- Create local users, shared folders, and NTFS permissions.
- Install and manage Acronis backup software and monitor jobs.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 on desktops.
- Provide end-user support for office applications and printers.
- Maintain antivirus/endpoint protection and perform patching.
- Document incidents and configurations; coordinate with vendors.
