The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle, an upscale hotel with 491 rooms, is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards and ensure guest satisfaction. You will follow housekeeping procedures, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience as a Room attendant or hotel housekeeping staff.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operational procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team and guests.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver welcoming service.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually in correct uniform with name badge.
• Attend shift briefing.
• Handle room keys and reports from housekeeping office.
• Clean assigned rooms thoroughly and replenish linen and supplies.
• Tidy and arrange guest belongings to standards.
• Inspect facilities and report damages for action.
• Inform supervisors of missing or broken items.
• Address guest requests courteously and promptly.
• Coordinate with Valet for laundry/dry cleaning as needed.
• Maintain safe, environmentally friendly operations.
• Perform scheduled general cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and store equipment; keep pantries neat.
• Pay attention to busy areas like guest elevators and ashtrays.
• Restock trolleys and pantries for the next day.
• Keep housekeeping areas clean; participate in training sessions.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure no rooms with faults are released.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Do not share master keys without supervisor approval.
• Duties may also include Laundry/Runner or Public areas.
