Job summary

Hilton Dubai is seeking an experienced Front-of-House host to manage day-to-day restaurant operations and uphold high guest service standards. You will welcome guests, assist seating, oversee reservations, and coordinate service staff to ensure a smooth dining experience.

The role requires strong English communication, knowledge of Micros POS, and the ability to lead a team during busy shifts while promoting upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing front-of-house operations in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Ability to read complex English memos, reservations, and event orders.
• Fluent spoken English for staff briefings and guest interactions.
• Strong knowledge of menu items and upselling opportunities.
• Capacity to seat guests efficiently in a busy dining room.
• Effective handling of guest complaints with empathy and proactive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests, assist seating, and present menus.
• Coordinate reservations, table allocations, and daily table plan.
• Supervise service staff, conduct daily briefings, and uphold grooming standards.
• Manage shift handovers, VIP requests, and guest inquiries.
• Promote additional sales and ensure accurate cash handling with Micros.
