Job summary

Hilton in Dubai is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional hospitality and high-quality Food & Beverage service. You will support the captain and team during service, assist with in-house promotions, and ensure cleanliness and mise en place across outlets.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register and manage guest checks, counts and cash drops.
• Advanced English language writing skills for requisitions, balance sheets and vouchers.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and POS procedures to pre-check, order and close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist captain or head waiter during service and stay at disposal.
• Contribute to promotions of in-house sales with knowledge of all services.
• Be familiar with daily specials and openings of F&B outlets.
• Maintain cleanliness of trolleys and tables; polish cutlery and mise en place.
• Fill sugar dispensers, mustard pots, toothpicks, oil and vinegar; restock linen.
• Follow daily cleaning and restaurant closure plans.
