NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm, welcoming Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience with a professional and friendly demeanor.

The role emphasizes guest service excellence, clear communication, and teamwork in a luxury hotel environment. Flexibility for shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Warm, confident and outgoing personality with passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong English (written and spoken); other languages a plus.
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Ability to stay professional and composed during busy periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain knowledge of hours, menus, promotions, and facilities.
• Coordinate with service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservations.
• Acknowledge returning guests and special occasions and inform the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback and concerns; escalate when needed.
• Keep reception and entrance area clean, organized and professional.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen and service team.
• Follow grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
