Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
• Thank guests and bid them farewell, inviting their next visit.
• Assist guests with table reservations.
• Assist guests while seating.
• Ensure guests are serviced within the specified time.
• Know the menu and presentation standards.
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff; answer phone etiquette.
• Answer questions about the menu and assist with selections.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Apply service techniques and serve Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm.
• Serve courses and beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Record orders in POS at the time of order.
• Communicate menu questions, wait times, and product availability to the kitchen.
• Note dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Check guest satisfaction after each course.
• Clear, collect, and return dishes to proper areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and chinaware throughout shift.
• Review order dockets for accuracy and timely preparation.
• Present final bill and process payment.
• Perform shift closing on the POS terminal and tally cash/credit settlements.
• Keep restaurant clean and organized front and back of house.
• Comply with hotel brand standards and SOPs.
• Collaborate with staff and managers to maximize restaurant potential.
• Complete daily shift responsibilities and closing duties.
• Conduct monthly inventory of operating equipment and supplies.
• Coach and develop junior staff.
