Job summary

Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is seeking a service-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our guest-focused team. You will deliver warm, professional service, support the outlets, and help ensure smooth beverage and meals service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

With 1-2 years of F&B experience, you will handle guest requests, maintain standards, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, while upholding IHG values and engaging with guests to create memorable stays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest service practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional Holiday Inn service standards by providing warm, professional, and personalized experiences to all guests while upholding the brand values.
• Ensure efficient food and beverage operations, including timely service, mise en place, coordination with the kitchen team, and adherence to service standards.
• Ensure beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and maintain beverage cost targets.
• Build strong guest relationships by recognizing VIP and returning guests and addressing requests promptly.
• Drive revenue and cost control through upselling, accurate cash handling, inventory monitoring, and stock control.
• Lead and support team members by ensuring compliance with service procedures and promoting continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with IHG policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental sustainability practices.
• Report health or safety hazards and issues to supervisors and record appropriately.
• Safeguard hotel assets and information by ensuring proper equipment use and confidentiality.
