The Emirates Group in Dubai seeks a Senior Security Agent to strengthen Group Security across the Emirates Group network. You will monitor flights, verify travel documents, and support proactive security checks while coordinating with security officers to protect people, cargo and assets.

You will handle investigations, prepare incident reports, and liaise with consulates/embassies as needed. Fluency in English and UAE driving licence are required, with confidentiality a must.

Qualifications

• 12 years schooling or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in airline/security operations.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• U.A.E driving licence.
• Excellent investigative qualities with good memory/recall of incidents.
• High degree of confidentiality and ability to make decisions.
• Arabic and other European languages (French, German, Italian) a plus.

Job Purpose Join our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Centre, Hub Operations, Crime Prevention & Investigation, Threat & Risk Assessment, Aviation Security Assurance, and Business Support - all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies. With opportunities across various specialized units, you will gain exposure and contribute to cutting-edge security practices.As a Senior Security Agent with Group Security you will monitor flights and inspect passenger travel documents for possible inadmissible passengers travelling to Emirates Locations network wide in order to reduce the liability of fines imposed by various countries around the world. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, Group Security policies, and international security standards. Supports shift activities, conducts risk-based security checks, verifies travel documents, prevents inadmissible passenger cases, and safeguards cargo, personnel, and assets through proactive security measures and accurate incident reporting. Further you will carry out such security duties as directed by the Security Management such as Check-in counter surveillance for discrepancies, mishandled baggage, provide escort to deportees,etc.In this role, you will:Assess information in inadmissible passengers from intelligence reports received from Security Officer, and coordinate necessary action with the coordinators such as checks on high risk flight, PNR, check to locate such common names as mentioned in the intelligence bulletin, identify need for the strength of staff on particular high risk flights, etc.Access reservation systems for profiles on inadmissible passengers throughout the network and highlight the same to the Security Coordinator in order to gauge the flight situation before proceeding for gate checks.Check passenger travel documents for discrepancies such as forgeries and refer to the Security Coordinator in case of doubts where forgery is of a high quality.Monitor movement and repatriation of inadmissible passengers making such arrangements for alternate routes, accommodation or deportation in consultation with the Consulates/Embassies.Undertake such security duties as directed by Security Management such as check in counter surveillance for excess baggage discrepancies, Ramp/MHB area spot checks for pilferage's, cabin crew random checks, Adhoc checks on company accommodation for cabin crew, surveillance for any area specified by Chief of Group Security.Prepare reports on all such incidents where they have been involved and submit the same to the Management for further review.QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:12 years schooling or equivalent3 + years experience required in an airline, security (general) or security operationBe fluent in English (spoken and written)Possess a valid U.A.E driving licenceHave excellent investigative qualities with a good memory or recall of incidents.Have a high degree of confidentiality, and ability to make decisions.You’ll have an edge, if you:Have experience in the Aviation Security field.Have experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.Have a high level of customer and interpersonal skills due to the sensitive nature and impact of interrogating suspect passengers and offloading them where necessary.Speak Arabic and other European languages such as French, German, Italian, etc.Our services on the ground keep the world in the air.
