Job summary

Emirates Group is seeking a Security Coordinator for the Facilities Protection unit in Dubai. You will support security operations, maintain documentation, and assist in investigations related to incidents, lost items and fraud.

The role involves coordinating investigations, compiling data for audits, and ensuring adherence to security policies across the group. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in aviation security or similar, with strong report-writing and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience, preferably in Aviation Security or similar function.
• 12 years of education or equivalent.
• Experience in aviation, supervision and root cause analysis would be advantageous.
• Ability to write reports in a comprehensive manner and computer literate is a must.
• Fraud prevention/investigation experience would be advantageous.

Job Purpose Join our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Centre, Hub Ops Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Assurance unit, and Business Support Unit—all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.In your role as Security Coordinator for the Facilities Protection unit, you will provide a support service to operation related issues in order to ensure compliance and consistency with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP) and Security Management System (SEMS). Collate record, analyse and assist in investigating, alerting and reporting all irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organizations Security Policy. The role involves monitoring and reporting security irregularities, maintaining accurate records for audits, supporting administrative and logistical operations, and assisting in investigations related to lost items, incidents and fraud.Job Outline:GenericSupport the security operations with regards to statistics, logistics, roster patterns and administration etc.Conduct effective performance reviews, implementation of training/development initiatives and consistent application of company policy.Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date.Contribute in the review of standard operating procedures, contracts and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.Facilities and AccommodationSupport the controller in the daily management of security requirements e.g. extra requirements in relation to parking, VIP visitors etc.Review all reported incidents received on a daily basis and make decisions on action required e.g. fights in accommodation/lost items etc.Prepare and maintain the ticket and credit card fraud database in order to ensure correct storage and retrieval of passenger data.
