Emirates Group security is seeking a Security Coordinator for the Facilities Protection unit in Dubai to support operation-related issues, ensure policy compliance and audit readiness. The role involves monitoring irregularities, recording data, and assisting investigations related to loss, incidents and fraud.

Key duties include coordinating security logistics, rostering, performance reviews, and maintaining procedures.

Formación

• Over 5 years of experience in aviation security or a similar function.
• 12 years of formal education or equivalent.
• Experience in aviation, supervision and root cause analysis is advantageous.
• Ability to write reports clearly and be computer literate.
• Fraud Prevention/Investigation experience is advantageous.
• Experience in investigation would be advantageous.
• Experience in risk assessment would be advantageous.

Job Purpose

Join our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Centre, Hub Ops Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Assurance unit, and Business Support Unit—all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

In your role as Security Coordinator for the Facilities Protection unit, you will provide a support service to operation related issues in order to ensure compliance and consistency with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP) and Security Management System (SEMS). Collate record, analyse and assist in investigating, alerting and reporting all irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organizations Security Policy. The role involves monitoring and reporting security irregularities, maintaining accurate records for audits, supporting administrative and logistical operations, and assisting in investigations related to lost items, incidents and fraud.

Job Outline

• Generic Support the security operations with regards to statistics, logistics, roster patterns and administration etc.
• Conduct effective performance reviews, implementation of training/development initiatives and consistent application of company policy.
• Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date. Contribute in the review of standard operating procedures, contracts and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.
• Facilities and Accommodation Support the controller in the daily management of security requirements e.g. extra requirements in relation to parking, VIP visitors etc.
• Review all reported incidents received on a daily basis and make decisions on action required e.g. fights in accommodation/lost items etc.
• Prepare and maintain the ticket and credit card fraud database in order to ensure correct storage and retrieval of passenger data. Prepare fraud alerts for network stations so that the security officer can disseminate in a timely manner to prevent fraud.
• Coordinate investigation work and assist in the process of evidence gathering for cases involving staff of the Emirates Group.
• Independently undertake the less complex investigations and provide a report with recommendations.
• Record, collate, analyse and report data that will support the administration activities, customer complaints and compliments.

Qualifications & Experience

• + 5 years experience, preferably in Aviation Security or similar function
• 12 years of education or equivalent
• Experience in aviation, supervision and root cause analysis would be advantageous.
• Ability to write reports in a comprehensive manner and computer literate is a must.
