Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Senior Manager - Health and Safety Governance in Dubai to shape group-wide occupational health and safety strategy, governance, assurance, and risk oversight. The role focuses on embedding safety into executive decision-making, ESG priorities, and enterprise risk management across Operating Companies.

The position operates at the group level to establish standards, strengthen governance, and enhance safety maturity across diverse geographies.

Qualifications

• Extensive health and safety leadership experience in a complex, multi-business environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, governance, assurance, and incident investigation.
• Experience preparing executive and Board-level reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Group Health and Safety strategy, governance framework, policies, standards, and minimum operating requirements.
• Oversee audits, assurance reviews, independent assessments, and compliance evaluations across the Group.
• Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators and ensure consistent performance measurement across Operating Companies.
• Develop dashboards, management reporting, and risk summaries for senior leadership and Board audiences.
• Lead the Group framework for critical risk management and prevention of serious injuries and major incidents.
