Job Title - Group Chief Financial Officer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial direction of a fast‑growing technology and IT services group. The Group CFO will be responsible for driving financial performance, implementing strong financial controls, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring robust financial planning and reporting across the organisation.

A CFO is the senior executive responsible for the financial health of an organisation overseeing planning, risk management, financial reporting, and analysis whilst acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy & Planning
    • Lead development and execution of the financial strategy to support growth, scalability, profitability, and investment goals across all business units.
    • Oversee annual budgeting, long‑range planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling to align financial plans with organisational objectives.
    • Identify areas of financial risk and opportunity, and provide clear, data‑driven recommendations to the Board and executive leadership.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure accurate, timely preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidated group financials, statutory reports, and disclosures.
    • Lead and oversee statutory and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
    • Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Management
    • Manage group treasury functions: cash flow planning, working capital optimisation, banking and financing relationships.
    • Oversee budgeting and capital allocation to support operational needs, strategic growth and technology investments.
  • Leadership & Financial Operations
    • Lead, mentor and scale the finance team across jurisdictions to ensure high performance, accountability and continuous development.
    • Oversee financial operations including accounting, tax, financial systems, payroll coordination and accounts management.
    • Drive finance process improvements, automation and adoption of technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy and transparency.
  • Business Partnering & Strategic Advisory
    • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership translating financial insights into actionable business strategies.
    • Provide commercial and investment analysis to support mergers & acquisitions, business transformations, product launches, and expansion decisions.
    • Present financial performance, forecasts, risk assessments and capital plans to the Board and investors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Professional certification highly desirable (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMA, ACA).
  • 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, including CFO, Group Finance Director, or equivalent roles in technology, IT services, consulting or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial strategy, planning & analysis, risk management, and financial operations within a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
  • Strong track record of scaling finance functions, improving systems, implementing controls and influencing C‑suite strategy.
