Job summary

Air Arabia in Sharjah seeks a Manager - Ground Operations Training & Compliance to design, manage and monitor mandatory and regulatory training across the network, aligning with GCAA/IOSA/IATA standards and Air Arabia QA.

Responsibilities include developing training strategies, publishing manuals, coordinating with stakeholders, auditing programs, and ensuring safety and service quality across hubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Management /Education/HR or equivalent from a recognized university, alternately a higher diploma in a related field combined with necessary experience.
• Must have Professional Training certificates such as “Train the Trainer”, “NLP”, and “Instructive Training” etc.
• Must be accepted by the GCAA as approved instructor/trainer in Ground Operations Handling: Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling, or Cargo Handling operations.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training certificate is an added value.
• Basic Airport safety and security procedures and regulations trainings are a must.
• Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, and monitors related training strategies, policies, procedures and business plans for the entire network in accordance with Company’s corporate objectives and regulatory requirements pertaining to ground operations.
• Authorizes, revises and publishes the Ground Operations Manual as per GCAA CAROPS, IOSA and international recommended practices.
• Partners with Stakeholders to identify and evaluate the training needs; designs and manages the execution of the corresponding mandatory and regulatory training syllabi, Initial and Recurrent, with focus on service quality, systems, equipment, human factors and business needs.
• Manages the selection, performance and development of the training providers ensuring their competency and adherence to agreed procedures during training sessions; leads the on-going development and evaluation of the training team and the training activities (concept, design, delivery).
• Ensures adherence by trainees to policies, procedures, Company uniform, PSE and grooming standards during the training sessions; addresses any misconduct or non-compliance to the respective line managers for corrective measures as and when required.
• Liaises with Stakeholders in conducting training programs assessments; gets feedback on the trained staff’s performance to evaluate the implemented and future training programs, and to ensure best customer service, and utmost safety and security are adopted across the network.
