Job summary

Parx cafe LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Grill/BBQ Chef to lead a busy grill station. You will prepare a wide range of meats and kebabs, using Lebanese, Turkish and Arabic marinades and spices to ensure authentic flavors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of grill experience, expertise in charcoal grilling, and a strong focus on hygiene and teamwork in a high-volume restaurant setting in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Grill or BBQ Chef.
• Strong experience in Lebanese, Turkish, or Arabic cuisine.
• Excellent knowledge of charcoal grilling and meat preparation.
• Experience with kebab, kofta, shish tawook, lamb, chicken, and mixed grills.
• Good understanding of marinades and Arabic spices.
• Able to work efficiently in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong hygiene, organization, and teamwork skills.
• UAE restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grill a variety of meats, chicken, kebabs, kofta, shish tawook, lamb chops, and mixed grills.
• Prepare Lebanese, Turkish, and Arabic marinades, seasoning, and sauces.
• Ensure proper marination, portioning, cutting, and preparation of meat and poultry.
• Operate charcoal grills and BBQ equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistent taste, tenderness, presentation, and portion size.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and ensure all food is prepared according to food safety standards.
• Control wastage and maintain proper storage and stock rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grill station and kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Assist in developing new grill items and improving existing recipes.
