Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a talented graphic designer and videographer to bring immersive resort experiences to life across print, digital and social channels.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will lead concept development, plan shoots, operate cameras and editing software, and deliver polished content that drives awareness and guest engagement. This role requires strong design and storytelling skills in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in graphic design, videography and video editing, preferably within hospitality or creative agency.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design, original video shooting and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts with the Director of Marketing & Communications and translate briefs into visual content.
• Design print and digital materials including brochures, menus, advertisements and social assets.
• Plan and conduct video and photography shoots showcasing accommodation, dining, wellness and guest experiences.
• Prepare storyboards, shot lists and production schedules, coordinating locations, talent and equipment.
• Operate cameras, lighting, microphones and stabilisers to capture high-quality footage and audio.
• Edit videos for social media and campaigns, including reels, stories and promotional films.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading and audio post-production.
• Create motion graphics and animated typography for videos and digital displays.
• Collaborate with social media teams to align content with campaigns and brand priorities.
• Ensure AI-assisted outputs meet brand standards and copyright/privacy requirements.

Bring our resort experiences to life through compelling design, photography and video. Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will create content across print, digital and social platforms, supporting campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and revenue. This hands-on role combines graphic design, video shooting, editing and motion graphics. You will collaborate with teams across the resort, particularly Food & Beverage, Rooms, Recreation and Spa, while managing multiple creative projects from concept to delivery.

What you will be doing:

• Develop creative concepts with the Director of Marketing & Communications, translating briefs into effective visual content.
• Design print and digital materials, including brochures, menus, advertisements, presentations, signage, email graphics, social media assets and digital screen content.
• Plan and conduct video and photography shoots showcasing accommodation, dining, wellness, events, guest experiences and colleagues.
• Prepare storyboards, shot lists and production schedules, coordinating locations, talent, props and equipment.
• Operate cameras, smartphones, lighting, microphones, stabilisers and other production equipment to capture high-quality footage and audio.
• Edit videos for social media, campaigns, websites and presentations, including reels, stories, interviews and promotional films.
• Complete colour correction, colour grading, audio editing, subtitling and platform-specific formatting.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions and promotional animations for videos and digital displays.
• Work closely with the social media team to produce timely content aligned with campaign calendars, trends and brand priorities.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools for concept development, storyboarding, image enhancement, editing and production efficiency, with human review of all outputs.
• Ensure AI-assisted content meets brand standards, respects copyright and privacy, and accurately represents the resort’s offerings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing planned campaigns with urgent operational requirements while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Liaise with suppliers, printers and production partners; obtain quotations, review proofs and oversee final output.
• Maintain an organised library of footage, photographs, design files, templates and approved assets.
• Ensure appropriate permissions and usage rights are secured for people, music, imagery and other creative materials.
• Keep up to date with design, video, animation and AI tools, identifying practical ways to improve content quality and production.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in graphic design, videography and video editing, preferably within hospitality, lifestyle or a creative agency.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design, original video shooting, social media content and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with experience in colour grading and audio post-production.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animation and visual effects.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and photography post-production.
• Practical experience with camera operation, composition, lighting, sound recording and stabilisation equipment.
• Experience producing content in vertical, square and landscape formats for different platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools, such as Adobe Firefly and AI features within design and editing software, including the ability to assess and refine outputs.
• Knowledge of 3D design or animation software, such as Blender or Cinema 4D, is an advantage.
• A strong understanding of typography, layout, visual storytelling, brand consistency and print production.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing briefs and manage several projects independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments, respond to feedback and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to support scheduled shoots and events, including occasional evening or weekend assignments.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and digital asset optimisation is an advantage.
