Job summary

IFFCO Group is seeking an Associate Manager-Procurement (Grains) with expertise in Wheat, Corn and related markets to lead data analysis and optimize supplier bases in the UAE. You will drive hedging strategies, develop market intelligence, and work with trading, operations, and supply chain teams to secure favorable contracts.

The role requires 8–10 years in trading/merchandising, strong negotiation skills, and a background in agricultural commodities.

Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in trading and merchandising commodities.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to leverage purchasing opportunities.
Technical knowledge and experience purchasing and/or selling commodities.

Responsibilities

Lead data analysis and support procurement for grains and related products.
Develop market intelligence and hedging strategies aligned with forecasts.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to shape purchasing plans and contracts.
Understand futures markets and hedge strategies to mitigate risk.
Coordinate with teams to optimize pricing and margin across functions.
Guide the team on strategy execution and resource alignment.
