Job summary

Gateway UAE, a leading commodities trading firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Traders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will execute trading strategies, manage risk, and optimize the portfolio across oilseeds and grains markets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commodities trading, strong market knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and customers. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with CFA or similar credentials considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• Masters or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years in commodities trading, specifically in oilseeds or grains.
• In-depth knowledge of oilseed, grain, and energy markets; familiarity with trading platforms.

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends.
• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders in line with trading strategies and risk management policies for oilseeds and grains.
• Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize the trading portfolio to maximize profitability and minimize risk.

to join their dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing trading

strategies, managing risk, and optimizing the trading portfolio across oilseeds and grains markets. This

role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain

relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends

Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders in line with the company's trading strategies and

risk management policies for oilseeds (soybeans, canola, sunflower), grains (wheat, corn, barley,

oats) commodities.

Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize the trading portfolio to maximize profitability and

minimize risk across the specified commodities.

Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies to protect the companys interests

and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers,

and other key stakeholders in the oilseed, grain industries.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on trading activities, market conditions, and

performance metrics.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including logistics and operations, to

ensure seamless execution of trades.

Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with company policies, industry regulations,

and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Skill

Education: bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commodities trading, specifically in oilseeds or grains,

markets.

Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of oilseed, grain, and energy markets, including trading

platforms and market trends.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex

data and make informed decisions.

Risk Management: Experience in implementing effective risk management strategies and tools.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate

and build relationships.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in trading software, financial modelling, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Language: Arabic & English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.

Work Ethic: High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
