Job summary

SD (Middle East) LLC invites UAE National students pursuing IT or related degrees to join as a Graduate Trainee – Associate IT Specialist. You will gain practical exposure in office administration, project support, and stakeholder engagement within airport logistics projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring networks/servers, upgrading hardware/software, implementing security, creating user accounts, diagnosing issues, backing up data, and providing IT support to teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification; degree in Business Administration or related field is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Prior administration experience in a multinational company or large team is preferred.

• Assist in administration, office coordination, documentation, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in monitoring networks and servers and in upgrading hardware/software as needed.
• Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent threats; create user accounts and manage access.
• Document processes, back up and archive data; develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Provide IT support and mentor IT department staff; stay updated on IT administration best practices.

Role Overview

The Graduate Trainee – Associate IT Specialist will support the administration and operations teams in day-to-day business and office-related activities while gaining practical exposure to office administration, coordination, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within airport logistics projects.

What are my responsibilities?

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
• Assist in upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Creating user accounts and performing access control.
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.

What do you need to qualify for the role?

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior administration experience in a multinational company or similar organization with large teams is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
