Job summary

Vanderlande in Dubai invites UAE National students pursuing IT-related degrees to join as Graduate Trainee – Associate IT Specialist. You will assist IT administration, support day-to-day operations, and engage with project teams in a dynamic airport logistics environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, communicative in English, and eager to learn across networks, hardware, software upgrades, and security practices under supervision of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior administration experience in a multinational company or similar organization with large teams is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with multicultural personnel.
• A proactive self-learner with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Customer focus, result and quality orientation, and a strong sense of professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
• Assist in upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Creating user accounts and performing access control.
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
