Job summary

WSP Middle East in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Graduate Stakeholder Engineer (Emirati National) to support stakeholder engagement on Roads & Highways projects. You will coordinate with government entities, authorities, and partners to ensure clear communication and progress.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams, understand local regulations, and contribute to timely project delivery while building strong community relationships for infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Understanding of local regulations and stakeholders in Roads & Highways projects.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholder management and develop strong relationships with government entities, authorities, and project partners.

• Develop understanding of local regulations, policies, and standards for Roads & Highways projects.

In this role, you will focus on supporting effective communication, collaboration, and alignment among various parties, contributing to successful project delivery and positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Management: Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, local authorities, community representatives, and project partners.
• Communication Facilitation: Assist as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and progress.
• Regulatory Compliance: Develop an understanding of local regulations, policies, and standards related to Roads & Highways projects, ensuring project activities align with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conflict Resolution: Support in addressing conflicts or issues that arise between stakeholders and project teams, finding mutually beneficial resolutions to maintain project momentum and positive relationships.
• Public Engagement: Assist in organizing and facilitating public consultations, meetings, and workshops to gather feedback, address concerns, and build community support for infrastructure projects.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to project management and stakeholders.
