Burson, part of WPP, seeks an experienced Account Manager for its Social Media team focused on government clients. You will lead strategic social media plans, manage a small team, and drive end-to-end projects and government-related business development, including RFP responses and pitches.

You will serve as the primary contact for key government accounts, ensuring high-quality deliverables, on-brand content, and strong client relationships across channels while staying current with platform

Qualifications

Extensive experience in social media strategy and account management, esp. government/public sector.
Track record of executing social media plans for multi-stakeholder orgs.
Strong written skills with attention to policy compliance and brand guidelines.

Responsabilités

Be day-to-day lead for government clients, coordinating with senior leadership.
Develop and execute social media strategies; own channel plans and posting workflows.
Oversee content production: posts, briefs, captions; ensure compliance with policies.
Monitor platforms; manage moderation, listening, escalation per client protocols.
Track performance; produce dashboards and insights; propose optimizations.
