Job summary

We Are Social, a global socially-led creative agency, is seeking a Senior Account Director to drive social media advertising for major brands. You will act as the day-to-day conduit between clients and the agency, ensuring the smooth running of one or more accounts and delivering strategic, creative outcomes.

You will lead day-to-day client relationships, oversee portfolios, and champion the role of social and creative thinking in delivering award-winning work.

Qualifications

• Social-First Expertise: Proven experience within a digital, social, or creative agency, demonstrating deep knowledge of industry trends, platform developments, and new technology to guide strategic direction.
• Creative Partnership: A track record of providing robust judgment and clear rationale on creative output across the project lifecycle, partnering effectively with creative teams from initial development to execution.
• Financial & Operational Oversight: Full financial responsibility for individual accounts, including detailed scoping, accurate monthly forecasting, and managing agency resource bookings with Creative Operations.
• Strategic Growth: A history of identifying and converting business development opportunities within existing accounts while safeguarding current project health and revenue.
• Stakeholder Influence: Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with day-to-day client stakeholders, knowing when to escape to senior leadership for reassurance.
• Delivery Excellence: Proven ability to manage a substantial portfolio of accounts, ensuring all projects are delivered against agreed deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client relationships, ensuring business objectives are met through creative and strategic solutions.
• Oversee delivery of socially-led marketing solutions for portfolios, managing timelines and budgets.
• Steer strategic direction, provide robust creative judgment, and own the P&L for accounts.
• Support senior leadership on new business pitches.
