Job summary

APCO is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Social Media to support day-to-day client social media activities under guidance of an Account Manager. You will assist with content planning, translate strategies into social execution, draft English and Arabic copy, and coordinate assets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications or a related agency/client-service environment.
• Strong English and Arabic writing skills, with the ability to adapt copy for different platforms and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate client strategies into practical social media content pillars and posting plans.
• Develop platform-specific content plans reflecting objectives, audience needs and tone of voice.
• Map content formats, cadence, key moments and activation timelines for campaigns.
• Prepare social media performance recommendations based on trends and competitor activity.
• Draft engaging English and Arabic captions aligned with messaging and tone.
• Schedule and publish content across X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Coordinate with the creative team to brief and finalize visuals and assets.
• Support community management by monitoring comments and engagement.
• Monitor trends and provide actionable recommendations for content opportunities.
• Provide live social coverage during client events with real-time updates.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with paid media on campaign setup and tracking.
• Assist influencer outreach with research and coordination.
• Maintain trackers for approvals, schedules and reporting deadlines.
