Job summary

Confidentiel in Dubai seeks an accomplished Chief Operating Officer to lead operational performance across an international telecoms business. Based in Dubai, you will translate the Board’s strategy into measurable results across country operations, sales and distribution, customer experience and business transformation.

You will lead country leadership teams, tighten operating discipline and deliver profitable growth across prepaid, postpaid and digital channels.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within MNO or MVNO with COO/CEO-level responsibility.
• Proven multi-country P&L accountability and performance.
• Strong consumer telecoms experience: retail distribution, dealer networks, SIM sales.
• Proven track record of revenue, EBITDA, customer experience improvements.
• Experience managing country leaders and cross-functional delivery.
• Understanding prepaid and postpaid economics, acquisition and retention.
• Turnaround, transformation, or international expansion experience.
• Experience reporting to Board/Chairman/Group CEO.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead global operations and country performance with clear targets.
• Drive commercial execution across retail, distribution and digital channels.
• Own budgets, improve EBITDA and cash generation.
• Improve customer experience across onboarding to retention.
• Lead transformation programs with milestones and benefits.
