Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Dubai to manage end-to-end procurement activities, from RFQ to PO. You will interface with multiple internal teams to ensure compliant, timely delivery of materials for MDR projects.

You will evaluate supplier capabilities, maintain vendor relationships, and monitor market trends while ensuring adherence to policies and budgets. A strong understanding of procurement processes and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and procurement knowledge.
• Broad procurement lifecycle understanding and vendor mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement of materials in line with policies, ensuring vendor compliance and budget alignment.
• Interface with PMT, Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Safety, Accounting, and Warehouse.
• Procure materials with awareness of requisition requirements and applicable standards.
• Develop and maintain vendor base; monitor performance and market trends.
• Place and administer POs; resolve discrepancies and maintain audit trails.
• Support bid/pricing processes and coordinate with Bids & Proposals team.
