Job summary

Aventus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join the Private Markets investment team. You will support evaluation, execution and ongoing management of private equity investments across regional and international markets, including direct investments, co-investments and fund commitments.

You will work with senior investment professionals to build financial models (LBO, DCF, comps), conduct due diligence, prepare memos and recommendations, and help develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• CFA, CAIA, ACA or an MBA would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, screening and evaluation of private equity opportunities across sectors and geographies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, company valuations and investment modelling, including LBO, DCF and comps.
• Assist in the execution of direct investments, co-investments and private equity fund commitments.
• Participate in financial, commercial and operational due diligence alongside external advisers and investment partners.
• Prepare investment committee memorandums, presentations and recommendations for senior management.
• Assess investment opportunities based on expected returns, downside protection, strategic fit and portfolio diversification.
