Job summary

DHL Global Humanitarian Logistics Competence Centre in Dubai seeks a Customer Service Specialist to manage customer service level agreements and act as a logistics consultant to support existing business. The role reports to the Centre Head and involves cross-trade documentation, bookings, and proactive shipment status updates.

Requirements include 3–4 years of experience, a Bachelor’s Degree, and fluent Spanish and English with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent Spanish and English.
• Results driven and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, controls and distributes cross trade documents to counterparts.
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, shipping lines, DGF agent & suppliers.
• Performs IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipment.
• Creates and confirms bookings to ensure timely pickup of the shipment.
• Inform customers on shipment status and provide intermediate updates on incidents.
• Takes customer inquiries (Track and Trace) and processes them.
