Job summary

Ghobash Group seeks an Investment Associate (International Listed Investments) to support the Portfolio Manager in managing a diversified, multi-asset global portfolio spanning equities, fixed income and alternatives. The role focuses on manager research, fund selection and tactical trades, developing actionable allocation ideas and contributing to MIS and board updates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance or Economics. Other disciplines will be considered where supported by relevant experience or CFA charter.
• CFA charterholder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PM in origination, assessment, selection and execution of investment opportunities across international listed portfolio, with focus on fund selection.
• Perform due diligence and analysis on prospective managers and funds across equities, fixed income and alternatives.
• Prepare clear investment memos and due diligence assessments highlighting performance, risk and merit of investment cases.
• Maintain up-to-date coverage of existing holdings and prospective managers; monitor performance and collect relevant data.
• Conduct performance, risk and sensitivity analysis on total portfolio and new opportunities.
• Generate tactical trade ideas and actionable allocation and rebalancing suggestions.
• Attend meetings with banks, advisors and third-party managers to deepen market understanding.
