Job summary

Ghobash Trading & Investment in Dubai seeks an Investment Associate to support the Portfolio Manager in a diversified, multi-asset global portfolio spanning equities, fixed income and alternatives. You will conduct manager research, perform due diligence, prepare investment memos and assist with performance monitoring, risk profiling and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Finance or Economics.
4 to 7 years of investment experience in portfolio management or fund selection.
Experience gained at a family office, multi-family office or asset manager.
Candidates with CFA charter will be considered.

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate and monitor third-party managers and funds across equities, fixed income and alternatives.
Perform due diligence and analysis on prospective managers and funds, including investment process, team, viability and track record.
Prepare investment memos and due diligence assessments highlighting performance, risk, peers and merits.
Maintain up-to-date coverage of holdings and prospective managers; collect, organize and store data.
Conduct portfolio performance, risk and sensitivity analyses.
Monitor global markets to identify macro developments and opportunities across asset classes.
Generate tactical trade ideas and allocation/rebalancing recommendations for the international listed portfolio.
Attend meetings with banks, advisors and third-party managers to develop ideas.
Support periodic performance reporting and board presentations.
Contribute to development of investment framework and internal tools.
