Job summary

James Douglas Middle East is seeking an Investment Analyst at the Analyst/Associate level to support Public Equity investments. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, you will conduct market research, analyze sectors and companies, and help identify opportunities across GCC and global markets.

You'll directly report to the Head of Investments and contribute to investment ideas, trade execution, and ongoing monitoring of portfolios with a focus on risk management and value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• CFA Level 3 completed.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, brokerage, or family office in UAE.
• Experience in trading in GCC markets.
• Experience presenting research & sell-side recommendations on public equities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Public Markets (GCC & Global) to identify opportunities and monitor trades.
• Forecasts market trends and drafts research reports with recommendations.
• Stay informed about changes in financial markets and regulatory developments.
• Ensure portfolios are guideline compliant and manage risk.
• Maintain relationships with bankers, research firms and brokers to discuss strategies and opportunities.
• Track and manage the Public Equity portfolio and review sector weights across sub-portfolios.
• Prepare and deliver regular performance reports with benchmarks.
