Caliberly in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Officer to lead sourcing of equipment and materials for infrastructure projects. You will convert engineering specs into clear RFQs, build supplier relationships, and manage the procurement process from inquiry to delivery.

The role requires international market insight, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to read technical datasheets and BOMs. Travel to supplier sites may be required, and adherence to Incoterms and compliance procedures is

Qualifications

• 5 years of procurement experience in power generation or industrial equipment.
• Proven international sourcing and supplier negotiation experience.
• Knowledge of the Chinese market and ability to source across Europe, the United States and the Middle East.
• Ability to read technical specifications, datasheets and bills of materials.
• Practical knowledge of Incoterms, freight, import documentation and landed costs.
• Strong Excel and procurement recordkeeping skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Source equipment components and materials for infrastructure projects and convert specs into clear enquiries and purchase orders.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery; verify references and warranties.
• Manage orders through to delivery, including shipping, customs documentation and tracking.
• Maintain procurement budgets and flag long-lead items with alternatives.
