Safco International Trading Co. L.L.C. in Dubai seeks a Central Freight Control Manager to centralize and optimize all import and export freight activities across the group.

You will lead freight consolidation, negotiate with carriers, monitor market trends, and drive cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, export/import and warehouse teams to improve end-to-end logistics and deliver strategic savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive freight management or logistics experience.
• Proven track record of cost savings in transportation networks.
• Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and Incoterms.

Responsabilités

• Centralize planning, coordination, and control of all import/export container movements across the group.
• Develop freight consolidation strategies to maximize container utilization and reduce costs.
• Lead commercial negotiations with shipping lines and freight forwarders for competitive rates.
• Leverage total freight volumes to secure preferential pricing with key carriers.
• Monitor freight market trends, capacity, and rate fluctuations to manage costs.
• Ensure timely shipments while complying with customs regulations and company policies.
• Track and report freight costs, carrier performance, and transit times.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, export/import and warehousing teams to optimize end-to-end operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitalization, and network optimization.
