Job summary

Landmark Group seeks an experienced Sourcing Manager to develop and grow the Air, Sea, and Road Freight vendor base across GCC markets, with a focus on Far East and India subcontinent trade lanes. You will collaborate with commercial, operations and customer service teams to enhance service quality, efficiency and GCC customs compliance.

Responsibilities include RFQs, negotiations, pricing management, KPI monitoring and regular business reviews to optimize margins and service levels.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Strong understanding of UAE/GCC freight market dynamics.
• Experience in rate procurement, carrier negotiations, and pricing management.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and freight documentation.
• Experience working with freight management systems.

• Manage relationships with airlines, liners, transporters, consolidators, and freight partners.
• Conduct RFQs, tenders, and proposals; negotiate rates, contracts, space allocations, and SLAs.
• Build competitive value propositions around transit time, pricing, reliability, visibility, and compliance.
• Ensure competitive procurement and capacity planning across seasons.
• Monitor carrier performance and improve service quality; monitor market trends and competitor rates.
• Coordinate with operations for seamless shipments and proactively resolve escalations.
• Prepare monthly business reviews and management reports.

The sourcing manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing the Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight vendor base across GCC markets (with sourcing from far east and India subcontinent). The role will focus on building competitive freight solutions, strengthening carriers and transporter partnerships.

The incumbent will work closely with commercial, operations and customer service to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience while ensuring compliance with GCC customs regulations.

Requirements
