Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer – Civil Materials to manage international sourcing of aluminium, steel, marble, joinery and concrete for large-scale projects. You will lead supplier evaluation, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance and cost optimization across residential and commercial builds.

A minimum 10–12 years in civil materials procurement and overseas experience is required; UAE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–12 years of procurement experience in civil materials.
• Experience with overseas/international procurement.
• Strong vendor evaluation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international suppliers to procure civil materials and services.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on track record and capability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet technical specs and requirements.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and standards.
• Streamline processes to minimize lead times and align with schedules.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement quality control procedures and coordinate inspections.
• Maintain procurement records including POs, quotations, and deliveries.
• Prepare regular procurement reports for management review.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor market trends and new materials for cost optimization.
• Oversight of overseas procurement activities and related travel.
