Job summary

NYU Abu Dhabi seeks an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer to lead a data-driven HR function, aligning global policies with Abu Dhabi operations. This role shapes workforce strategy, talent development, and operational HR excellence across a complex, multicultural campus.

The CHRO will partner with senior leaders, oversee immigration, compensation, benefits, and HRIS initiatives, and drive organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with UAE labor law and NYU standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Chartered or certified HR credentials (e.g. CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) highly desirable.
• Master's degree in HRM/Organizational Psychology/Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership to NYU Abu Dhabi and align with NYU global HR functions.
• Lead HR team, budget, and vendor relationships to enable high performance.
• Drive talent acquisition, immigration, compensation, and benefits strategies at scale.
• Oversee workforce analytics, HRIS transformation, and KPI reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and NYU global standards.
• Lead HRBP function and integrate HR across operations.
