Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy and governance for a multi-jurisdictional derivatives business in the UAE, DMCC, and Singapore. Qualifications

• Significant senior finance experience at CFO/Finance Director level.
• Experience within financial markets, commodities, derivatives, brokerage, trading or related environment.
• Strong treasury and liquidity-management experience.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Experience managing external auditors.
• Experience managing banking and counterparty relationships.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the Company's financial strategy in partnership with the Board, supporting growth in UAE and Singapore.
• Produce accurate management accounts and statutory reporting for the Board.
• Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts with robust financial models.
• Oversee cash, liquidity and funding to meet margin and operational needs.
• Own relationships with banks, brokers and financial counterparties, including facilities onboarding.
• Design and maintain a strong control environment.
• Provide financial oversight of trading activity including P&L, positions and margin.
• Oversee client financial management including credit and settlements.
• Manage tax compliance and auditors through annual cycles.
• Monitor and report financial risks across market, credit, liquidity and counterparty exposure.
• Lead, develop and scale the finance team.
