Job summary

Confidential, a UAE-based conglomerate with diversified holdings across real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and more, is seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer in Dubai. You will shape the Group’s financial strategy, oversee global accounting, treasury, and governance, and drive capital efficiency across multiple subsidiaries.

The role requires 15+ years of senior finance leadership, strong IFRS and regulatory knowledge in the UAE, and a proven record in M&A and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred).
CA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA (required).
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a C-suite or equivalent.
Experience in diversified conglomerates, holding companies, or multi-business groups.
Extensive UAE/GCC regulatory, tax, and compliance knowledge (VAT, Corporate Tax, DIFC/ADGM).

Responsibilities

Partner with the Board to define and execute the Group's long-term financial strategy, aligning with multiple verticals.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the holding company and subsidiaries.
Drive capital allocation decisions and optimize ROI across the portfolio.
Provide strategic counsel on mergers, acquisitions, JVs, divestitures, and corporate transactions.
Oversee IFRS-compliant financial reporting and consolidation across the Group.
Establish robust internal controls and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Lead treasury, liquidity planning, FX risk management, and banking relationships.
Present financial performance to the Board and external stakeholders.
