Job summary

GEOSCIENCE TESTING LABORATORY in Abu Dhabi seeks a Geophysical Engineer to plan and conduct geophysical surveys, interpret subsurface data, and provide technical recommendations for geotechnical and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include processing data, preparing reports, coordinating field investigations, and ensuring QA/QC. A Bachelor's in a geophysics field and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, with UAE DL preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a geophysics-related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in geophysical investigations.
• Proficiency in geophysical data processing and interpretation software.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geophysical surveys using methods such as seismic, electrical resistivity (ERT), GPR, MASW, and EM.
• Process and interpret geophysical data to evaluate subsurface conditions.
• Prepare technical reports, survey results, and engineering recommendations.
• Coordinate field investigations and supervise survey activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with geologists, geotechnical engineers, and project teams.
• Maintain geophysical equipment and ensure data quality (QA/QC).
