Job summary
AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks a detail‑oriented Geotechnical Engineer to develop innovative solutions for complex infrastructure projects. You will analyze field data, perform settlement and foundation design, and prepare technical reports and drawings with multidisciplinary teams.
A BS in Geotechnical Engineering with 3–5 years of post‑graduation experience is required. Proficiency in GEO5, WALLAP, ALP, SlopeW/Slide, Plaxis, AutoCAD or Civil 3D is expected. Travel to project sites is anticipated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering (honors preferred).
- 3–5 years of geotechnical investigation and design experience.
- Proficiency with GEO5, WALLAP, ALP, SlopeW/Slide, Plaxis, AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
Responsibilities
- Analyze field data and inform design decisions.
- Perform settlement analysis, retaining wall and foundation design.
- Oversee geotechnical field activities for quality and safety.
- Prepare desk studies, interpretative reports, drawings, and design reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and support project documentation.
