Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is seeking a Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineer in Dubai, UAE, to support complex infrastructure projects across the GCC. This role involves conducting geological assessments and developing design reports to ensure safe engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in geotechnical design. A strong understanding of geotechnical software and compliance with international standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical design and site reconnaissance.
• Strong knowledge of rock slope stability analysis and rock mass classification systems.
• Experience working within GCC regulatory frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical and rock mechanics engineering assignments under moderate supervision.
• Conduct site reconnaissance and geological mapping.
• Develop geological models using AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
