Job summary
AECOM Middle East Ltd. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support Dubai infrastructure and transportation projects.
You will conduct ground investigations, interpret geotechnical data and develop practical solutions for foundations, earthworks, slopes and ground-improvement systems. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, production of technical reports and providing design-support during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
- Two to eight years geotechnical engineering experience.
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, design and construction support.
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent registration is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical engineering tasks within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Plan and support ground investigations for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
- Review and interpret geotechnical investigation data.
- Develop geotechnical ground models for design conditions.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations and specifications.
- Support foundation design and ground-improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and internal disciplines.
