Job summary

ADNOC Drilling Company invites an experienced Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering Engineer to support operational sites and ensure borehole placement aligns with plans. You will model pre-job feasibility, perform geosteering in drilling, and deliver QA to the client with strong communication and real-time interpretation.

Expected to liaise with client teams, supervise 2D navigation operations on site, and lead post-well analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences or related earth science discipline.
• 6 years’ drilling services experience.
• 5+ years with an oil company or well logging service.
• 2+ years as LWD/Wireline/Log Analysis (openhole).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for reservoir navigation/geosteering operations.
• Serve as customer liaison and present geosteering operations.
• Supervise 2D reservoir navigation/geosteering operations on site.
• Coordinate with Drilling Services and client personnel.
• Participate in post-well closeouts and manage special projects.
• Model offset data to assess geosteering feasibility.
• Monitor real-time data and make directional decisions.
• Integrate with client G&G, drilling and completions teams.
