Job summary

ADNOC Drilling OFS seeks a Directional Driller to implement directional drilling and LWD/MWD operations at wellsites, supervising and guiding junior field engineers.

You will maintain strong internal and external customer contacts and provide direction to third-party wellsite colleagues, ensuring objectives are met.

Minimum qualification: BSc in engineering; fluent English and good computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• BSc in an engineering discipline, or equivalent.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work.
• Provide advice to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues.
• Resolve complex problems at the wellsite based on data analysis.
• Act as project leader and mentor junior field engineers.
• Maintain professional contacts with internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Drilling SOPs, HSE policies and legal requirements.
• Complete advanced technical training and well site development programs.
• Address moderately complex drilling problems at the well site.
