Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a senior reservoir navigation/geosteering professional to support operations at ADNOC Drilling GeoSteering Services, ensuring borehole placement aligns with plans and client specs.

You will perform pre-job modeling, real-time interpretation, and post-well analysis, liaising with drilling, G&G, and client teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or related earth science.
• 6 years' drilling services experience.
• 5+ years with oil company or well-logging service.
• 2+ years as LWD/Wireline/Log analysis (open-hole).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Provide geosteering support including pre/post well interpretation and QC.
• Serve as customer liaison and present Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering results.
• Supervise 2D reservoir navigation/geosteering operations onsite.
• Coordinate with Drilling Services and client personnel.
• Participate in post-well closeouts and project management.
• Model offset data to assess geosteering feasibility.
• Monitor real-time data and make directional decisions for borehole placement.
• Collaborate with client G&G, drilling and completions teams for planning.
