Job summary

Axalta in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Production Operator responsible for operating the powder coating process, monitoring parameters, and performing quality powder checks. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work with the operations team to meet shift production targets.

Responsibilities include handling raw materials and finished goods, packing into 20 kg boxes, palletizing, cleaning machines with proper PPE, and ensuring a safe workplace with compliant documentation.

• Hindi/Urdu language is added advantage

• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering and inform the Shift Supervisor of status.
• Maintain a safe, healthy production area and ensure all documentation is prepared before manufacturing starts.

Job Description:

The Production Operator has direct responsibility for the manufacturing processes they are allocated within their shift and has a working relationship with the Production Supervisor(s), Operations Manager, Quality / H&S Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Operation of Powder Coating Process. Able to understand the process parameters of the machines and work accordingly. Finished product(s). Quality control powder checks and reporting to the Production Supervisor.
• Willing and able to handle Raw material and finished goods in the warehouse. Packing powder into 20kg boxes and stacking them on to pallets. Cleaning machines (wearing proper PPEs).
• Work within allocated Team to achieve planned manufacturing in line with shift resource availability and efficiency requirements. Be proactive and make improvement suggestions.
• Communicate any maintenance issues to the Maintenance / Engineering team to ensure minimal disruption to the manufacturing schedule. Communicate the manufacturing status (issues and activities performed) to the Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment in all Production areas. Ensure compliance with Company procedures and policies. Ensure all production related documentation is available in advance of manufacturing commencement.
