Brink’s Global Services is seeking a commercially minded, strategic, and resilient General Manager to lead UAE Cash Management, AMS (ATM Managed Services), and DRS (Digital Retail Solutions) operations through its continued phase of growth within an established Joint Venture structure. The role carries comprehensive accountability for financial performance, operational delivery, people leadership, and regulatory compliance and will lead all operations for the Joint Venture (JV), ensuring complete P&L, robust financial governance, compliance, and strategic support to drive profitability and sustainable growth. This role will act as a key business partner to the JV leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to optimize business performance.
Develop strategies, policies and operational/commercial/marketing plans based on current and future market conditions and trends. Ability to manage and work with mergers and JV's is a key to the role. Communicate a compelling vision, which creates a focus and shared sense of purpose and values for all employees. Own full P&L driving high performance, seeking out unnecessary spending, driving resolution on underperforming areas, and maximizing opportunities for revenue growth. Anchor strong partnership with regional teams, ensuring operational continuity while jointly enabling the business strategy. Maximize economic value added through continued growth in profitable sales within a competitive price structure and through effective cost controls. Create an environment that encourages excellence and creativity, develops efficient and effective work processes and ensures the delivery of quality service. Gain in-depth knowledge of customers and their perspective through internal knowledge collection and customer facing methodologies to strategically focus on optimizing all aspects of the Brinks commercial activities, to drive profitable growth. Actively manage key accounts to develop and maintain client relationships by working directly with customers to ensure all requirements of their business are understood and accurately reflected in the delivery of service at the local. Ensure adequate human, financial, technical, and other resources are made available to meet business needs. Develop and maintain senior level relationships with key customers, relevant third parties and opinion leaders. Ensure fiscal and legal compliance with applicable laws and statutes. Develop and execute best practices and technology to create more effective work processes, manage costs and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service as the business continues to grow. Ensure that all employees understand and commit to the mission and business strategies set for the Company. Be actively involved with developing, engineering and promoting end-to-end risk solutions. Assess the competence and performance levels of key management employees and ensure that necessary succession is in place for critical positions and that development plans are in place for all key employees. Ensure secure, safe, efficient and customer-oriented handling of the operations according to the Brink’s standards, processes and procedures as outlined in the Business and Procedures Manual. Ensure secure, safe, and compliant operations in line with Brink’s global standards and UAE regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor the leadership team to operate as a cohesive, high-performing management group.
Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in senior executive leadership roles (General Manager, Managing Director, Country Head, or equivalent). Extensive leadership background in the services sector, ideally with a multinational company in Freight Forwarding/Security Services/Cash Management. Experience operating within a Joint Venture and/or M&A environment is strongly preferred. Proven track record in turnaround assignments, particularly in operational transformation, with a background in fostering a "lean culture" and navigating challenging environments. Expertise in operations, products, services, policies, and procedures akin to those of Brink’s, with a deep understanding of customer types and serviced sectors. Possession of a primary degree and pertinent professional certifications. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English and the local language. Robust analytical capabilities are paired with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
