Role Overview
The General Manager (GM) will oversee the overall management, strategic growth, and operational excellence of SHEEL Vehicle Transport Towing. The GM will be responsible for ensuring profitability, service quality, and expansion across the UAE while aligning with the EasyLease Group’s long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Define and execute business strategies for growth and market leadership.
- Drive service innovation using in-house trip management technology.
- Explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion markets.
- Operational Excellence
- Lead and manage towing & recovery operations across all Emirates.
- Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations, RTA requirements, and industry best practices.
- Optimize fleet utilization, driver productivity, and service turnaround times.
- Financial & Business Management
- Full P&L responsibility with focus on revenue growth and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Negotiate contracts with corporate clients, insurers, and government agencies.
- People Leadership
- Build and lead a strong operation and support team.
- Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee training, career development, and succession planning.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence across all touchpoints.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Handle escalations and resolve high-priority operational issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Automotive Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in automotive, logistics, or towing/recovery services.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE fleet operations, automotive market, and RTA regulations.
- Proven experience in managing multi-emirate/multi-location operations.
- Exposure to technology-enabled service models (dispatch, trip management, or telematics).
