Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is seeking a reliable General Accountant in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting management in maintaining a strong financial control environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in travel or service industry.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with travel booking systems and supplier reconciliation processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

Handle journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing tasks.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and budget analyses.
Monitor expenses and assist in VAT returns and statutory reports.
Verify and reconcile supplier invoices, especially travel bookings and services.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate records.
Support annual audits by providing schedules and documentation.
Maintain filing and record keeping of financial transactions.
