Job summary

Lift Mart is seeking a General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate ledgers, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.

The role covers accounts payable and receivable, bank and vendor reconciliations, payroll support, collections, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, with cross‑department collaboration. Familiarity with IFRS and UAE VAT is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Odoo and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Support management with cash flow and expense reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
• Liaise with sales, operations, and procurement for financial data.
